"Bottomless" bowls of food
are passed around the table at a Penn Dutch Feast. |
Penn Dutch Feast
Penn Dutch Feasts are served at several
popular area restaurants. These meals are served
"Family Style": bowls are passed around the table and
when they're empty, they're filled up again! A typical
feast includes chicken, two other meat dishes, mashed
potatoes, buttered noodles, vegetables, a variety of cold
relishes, bread, beverage, and a variety of favorite Penn
Dutch desserts. A "lighter fare" feast, which includes
two meats instead of three, is available at a reduced cost.

Smorgasbord Board Dining
Smorgasbord dining is available for
Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner at several area restaurants.
Here, guests leave the table and serve themselves from the
Smorgasbord. Smorgasbords offer several Penn Dutch
favorite foods as well as a selection of more continental
fare.
